For basic service which might consist of:

• Mowing and edging


• Front and Back lawn


• Bi-weekly service

A fair market rate might be $40.00 per month, for corner lots you can charge slightly more, usually corner lots are larger.

For other services you could charge per job these service might consist of:

• Tree trimming and removal


• Trash houling


• Yard clean up


• Complete sprinkler installation and service


• Main line installation


• Weekly service

You might want to list these services on an 81/2" by 11" paper with your name and number and offer to give Free estimates. Check with the city you plan to pass these flyer out in because you might need a license to pass these flyer out.

Another thing you would want to do is decide if you want to start you business as a sole proprietor, partnership, LLC, or corporation.
